4-leaf-clover

Saint Patrick’s Day is upon us and there are so many places to enjoy a green beer, or just have a good time. So, we thought we’d try to make it easier for you to plan your SPD shenanigans.

If you’re looking for more than somewhere to grab a green beer or a shot of whisky, there are plenty of places to just to go and have a lovely evening out. We have 2 recommendations that are sure to make your evening an adventure:

The Starry Plough Pub
3101 Shattuck Ave
Berkeley, CA 94705
(510) 841-2082

You won’t find any green beer at The Starry Plough but you will find a great Irish celebration! Serving corned beef and cabbage with homemade Irish brown soda bread for $12 until they run out and featuring Irish music and dancing from 4pm-close it is sure to be a good time.

 Tartuffe at The Berkeley Rep
2020 Addison Street
Berkeley CA 94704
(510) 647-2949

Not quite Saint Patrick’s Day relevant…but, it’s totally a great option for going out on a Tuesday night. Tartuff is a fantastic play by Moliere, and this collaboration between Steven Epp and Dominique Serrand is not to be missed. Maybe grab a yummy drink with some whisky in it at Revival before heading to the show to make it festive?
