Fairyland for fun
Children’s Fairyland has been an Oakland gem since 1950. Arthur Navlet, a nursery owner came up with an idea to create a storybook theme park. With the support of the Lake Merritt Breakfast Club and the citizens of Oakland, he raised $50,000 to build Children’s Fairyland – a place where families can take their kids to see fairy-tale scenes and live entertainment….
