Okay, twist my arm…fine, I’ll go to the fancy new restaurant in Jack London Square just by the water where well known chef Daniel Patterson (Plum, Coi) finally opened his doors. The floor-to-ceiling windows facing the waterfront allow for an open and airy feel to the restaurant that continues into the open kitchen.
The menu is short and focused with the same creative mix of meat and vegetable combinations to form what we have come to know as California Cuisine. The wine list showcases carefully selected wines and the bar serves hand crafted signature cocktails – sometimes served with a massive ice cube (see pic).
Either way, Haven is worth a visit – but be sure to bring your apetite, the servings are grand without overstuffing.
