For those who still like to turn the pages of a book – it’s time to visit, or revisit Walden Pond Books. This independent bookstore since 1973 was named best Book Store by the East Bay Express and Oakland Magazine. They carry the bestsellers to rare books, they hold author events, and they offer excellent recommendations. Visit their store, or shop online! Just beware of the two incredibly friendly and fluffy dogs, Amos and Kip.
